Job Purpose
We have an excellent opportunity to appoint an interim Head of Commercial to work for a leading borough council.
1-2 days per week in the office, remainder remote.
Your new role
- Draft, negotiate and complete s106, s38, s278 agreements and any other agreement and licences relating to planning and highways matters.
- Advise on all matters relating on planning and highways matters.
- Lead, manage and supervise a team of contract lawyers, planning lawyers and property lawyers.
- Positively contribute as member of the Legal Services Management Team.
- Conduct member training.
- Attend and advise at planning committee and any other council committees, as necessary.
- Deputise for the council's Monitoring Officer including attending high level meetings.
- Progress the council's various corporate agenda.
